Engine overview

Helios was SRT’s second engine design and was developed in two major versions distinguished by oxidizer-flow control and injector design. Its flow-control hardware was designed to interchange with the Icarus system. Helios used a lightweight composite tank, custom ball-valve actuation on Version II, a removable coin injector, and a cubic graphite nozzle.
