Program overview

Lazarus is the fifth vehicle built by SRT and the first rocket the team designed around a 30,000 ft mission. Its primary structure uses high-strength carbon-fiber airframe sections joined by aluminum bulkheads, while radio-sensitive sections such as the electronics bay use fiberglass. The fin system incorporated a honeycomb-core construction integrated into the airframe.

Paired with the NP-850 Vulcan hybrid engine, the 30,000 ft configuration was expected to reach approximately Mach 1.4. Lazarus ultimately flew once, reaching 7,947 ft AGL.
