Program overview

Valor is the first rocket built by SRT and established many of the design and schedule conventions used by later teams. The vehicle was designed and built across two 15-week semesters.

Its hardware included a custom-wound carbon-fiber body, aluminum bulkheads, and a 3D-printed GPS containment module integrated into the nose-cone tip to improve connectivity.
