Engine overview

Icarus was the largest and most powerful hybrid engine SRT had built and tested at the time. Two major versions were differentiated by injector design. The system used a lightweight composite tank, custom ball-valve actuation, a removable coin injector with vortex injection, and a cubic graphite nozzle, with stainless-steel plumbing and aluminum injector and chamber hardware.
