Program overview

Sol Invictus was designed for SRT’s re-entry into hybrid rockets at IREC. It was designed around a 30,000 ft apogee and carried a radar and Sythetic Aperature Radar (SAR) Imaging system. It was a subminimum vehicle using a structural oxidizer tank, constructed with aluminum, carbon fiber body tubes, and a fiberglass and teflon nosecone for radar transparency. Unfortunately due to complications during fill at IREC, Sol Invictus was never launched and never will.
